Terms and conditions for - Rent A Pod

​

The company reserves the right to reclaim their property at any time should the terms of this agreement be broken in any way. 

​

Site: Prior to delivery the site will need to be clear of debris and vegetation to allow assembly to take place. Should assembly not be possible, a recall charge of £1750 will be required to re-visit and install the Pod, once the ground is suitable. 

400mm clearance around the building is required for regular maintenance

Maintenance schedule

The customer is required to maintain the Pod to a suitable standard both internally and externally. 

 

Internal Requirements

The customer is only permitted to paint the inside wall and ceiling with Royal interior paint (by Protek).

No additional electrical components (such as switches, sockets, or fused spurs are permitted)

The customer is permitted to hang items on the wall such as pictures and TV brackets

The customer may not install heavy duty items such as gym equipment, lathes or other heavy machinery.

External Requirements 

Vegetaition, such as plants, grass, trees and hedges must be kept from encroaching or damaging the Pod. Trees, plants and hedges will require pruning and trimming to prevent damage taking place. 

Gutters must be kept clean and free from debris. 

Cladding will require a yearly treatment using Protek Royal Exterior. A colour is permitted providing it is from the Protek range.

Doors may require adjustment - this is part of the maintenance schedule for the customer.

Guarantee

All Pods are to remain watertight for the duration of the contract, up to a period of 10 years.

All Pods are to remain rot resistant for the duration of the contract, subject to the maintenance schedule.

Glazing not to mist or fail within 10 years

End of Contract 

Rent A Pod team will remove the pod, the frame and the ground screws free of charge. Rent a Pod will not be liable for the ground conditions after the removal of the building. Once the building has been removed, the customer will be responsible for re-instating the ground as required. 

​

Damage

Standard wear and tear to the building is accepted, however damage beyond wear and tear will be chargeable for repair. Any damage much be reported immediately, so that an assessment ca be made prior to the repair taking place. 

​

Delivery

Delivery and assembly will take place within 2 days. Smaller buildings may be installed within a single day, however larger Pods may take two days to install. We will not be held responsible, should assembly over-run beyond our allotted allocation timeframe.
